Re:Semblance

A renewed adaptation of Re:Place, this piece guides its audience through nature to discover a series of short dances performed on an outdoor stage that stretches to half a kilometre. The original work, created across the first and second waves of COVID, was a reflection on isolation and displacement, and included only solos. Performed by a new cast of professional and emerging dancers in Prince George BC, this version honours the original format while blurring the edges between each dance, celebrating physical reconnection, and reflecting on our evolving relationship to place and to each other.
